Nantucket Striper fishing continues to be great
The bass fishing on nantucket continues to be great, even though the weather continues to make fishing a challenge. After the northeaster on Monday and Tuesday(40 knot winds) I have fished everyday with good results. Some notable catches have been a 25# bass on fly for Chris Jones, and a 35# bass on fly for Steve Collins. Nice fish steve. The rip fishing continues to be great, with mostly bass, though the blues have started to show. The offshore fishing continues to be good as well, tunas have been caught all week, with some good fishing yesterday, saturday the 27th. Water temps are still below average, I had 62 on the south side of the island this morning, roughly 5 degrees below average. Im expecting the bass fishing to continue for a couple more weeks with these low temps and no break in the weather.
